Catchain 2.0 is live on mainnet. TON says blocks now arrive about every 400ms and finalization is around one second instead of roughly ten seconds.

Telegram takes the wheel
Telegram replaces the TON Foundation as TON's driving force and becomes its largest validator. The same step brings the focus to tech superiority: new ton.org, new dev tools, and performance upgrades on a 2-3 week timeline.
Step 04Announced
TON becomes Gram
TON's native currency is becoming Gram, returning to the name from the first white paper. Durov says the transition takes around three weeks, while TON remains the name of the blockchain.

Step 5 waits
No official Step 5 has been posted yet. The Step 4 Gram announcement only says the rebrand will pave the way for what comes next.
